photographer talking about it won't increase campus safety and will confuse police

(it is about personal protection, not campus safety)

Woods people envision Virginia Tech Campus defense, I envision getting a knife pulled on me in a parking lot (it happened, is less rare/more common)
-------

next guy
if we talk about safety, police are against it
if a rights issue we don't need additional legislation, leave it to the constitution
-----------

A guy reading maxine turner's relatives in Virginia.

logic error ... teachers were among the "first shot" at VT's gun-free zone, she says they will be "first shot" if older students and teachers carry

"we should just leave it to the Constitution to take care of it."

Good in theory. Not so worthwhile in practice.

Cause you know the Constitution is a person that will actively do something to protect our rights.

The legislators can make laws to further clarify our rights.

"the time to stop a shooter is before he enters the classroom through early detection and treatment of mental illnesses ... once the shooter is in the classroom, the damage is already done." - Susan H. Turner (her statement read by ... ?)

I completely agree with this statement. I disagree that it's an "either/or choice" between this method and CHL on campus. This is a false choice. The best course of action is BOTH.

:banghead:

the lady who wants "her workplace" at UT protected from "concealed guns - just like here" obviously doesn't understand that CHL IS allowed in Capitol.

the mental health person who isn't a doctor telling about suicides

"No suicide prevention training in CHL class"
You can't shoot good so use a cell phone
She tried to borrow a CHL to get through the fast line
She finds the deranged term offensive

She tried to borrow a gun to get her CHL, unless I missed it. So she didn't get it. You don't need to possess in order to get a CHL. I'm sorry the Liberal angle on this is full of fallacies.

oh and CHL holders are bad guys. what the heck?

She spoke last week as well. Said she was offended by the term lunatic because she has a serious mental illness and would be classified as one.

Due to that, she would be ineligible for an CHL.

Oh I love this current girl who compares stolen bicycles and laptops with a stolen gun. I don't remember the last time I concealed a bike or laptop IWB.

She was just as annoying last week.

Yes out of cars, but not off of my person.

Again i see the one sided argument.

Regardless of whether or not I am "arguing" with a prof about grades. Someone that holds a CHL "in most cases" would posses the mental faculties to exercise a little bit of fire discipline.
