Feb 26 is a Sunday. If that is the correct date, then I won't be able to make it unless it is in the afternoon.

I regrettably can't make Feb 25. Is anyone still interested in shooting skeet or informal trap at Elm Fork tomorrow? I am still up for busting clays of some sort!

I'm afraid I won't be able to do the 25th, either. My work schedule is changing just before that and I'll be working weekends for a while.

What? What's everybody whining about, so you're going to get a little wet, boo hoo! In all honesty postponing sounds good. Murphy struck today as my wife called on my way home, apparently her car didn't want to start when she got to the parking garage. Oh well, looks like a fun weekend for me, trying to diagnose the problem. Anybody know how easy/hard it is to change the alternator on an Acura RDX?

All I saw was some adults discussing an outing that happened to get postponed by some much-needed rain. Then we were discussing possible dates to reschedule.

I didn't see anyone whining until you showed up crying about your wife's car. Based on your post, I'll say it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

And thus the reason sarcasm should be avoided on the internet, it just doesn't come across in text form very well. No, no one was whining and I think Andy's pictures highlighted the fact very well, that unless we all show up in waders, there is no way the shoot was going to happen. My post was a failed attempt at humor giving the situation portrayed by his pictures. If you'll reference my post from page 5 you'll see that I was indeed much happier to have the rain than I was upset at not getting to shoot. Sorry for the confusion.

Ya know, I was wondering if you can shoot sporting clays from a kayak. The singles might be do able, but the doubles would be mighty tough. ;-)

Actually, it might be quite awhile before the sporting clays courses are up and running again. Some of the throwers are ground level, some are elevated. You have to imagine that river water and mud are just not too good for the electric clay throwers.

I don't know how bad it is out there, but last time there was a major flood (like maybe 1997?) they were shut down for months. Lets hope that is not the case. They are good people out there, and I would hate to see that happen to them again.

Well, my apologies for missing the humor in your post. I just didn't come across that way to me.

We really need a sarcasm font. I've been bitten by that too!

It really is a good thing, for me, that we aren't going today. Cause I am too sick to go, but I would have anyway!

It's really nasty when snot drips down on your stock. Even worse when it gets into the action.
