well I called this morning and i am stuck due to the census.... couple weeks she said. So the wait goes on, at least I have a time table.

Does anyone elses status say that your photo holder is under review? Just curious what that is about

Mine does. Is that a good thing? Or a bad thing? I had two yellows and one red... I was born in Germany on a US army base and had to submit my passport. So I wait!

Mine says photo holder received and its green.........

Just funnin' ya. Somebody's gotta stand up for us Mac-centric folks here - I've loved mine since I took it out of the box 4 years ago. And thanks for the screens, too, by the way. It helped me to know that I hadn't lost my mind when Mrs. Irons checked her status for the first time since last week.

Has anyone applied after the 26th and seen any sort of update on their application online? Mine keeps showing up with options to apply for a license and nothing more. Been that way since they updated the site. Yeah, I know I'm being impatient but I'd think they'd have at least loaded the app into the system by now, right?

I sent mine on the 19th and was received at DPS on the 22nd and it still looks like mine is not in the system yet. Oh and I guess you can only try three times a day as it will kick you out and say the you have to wait 24hrs before entering your info again.

Seriously? Three times? How rude. Mine shows the same as yours, Grungir - no update of any kind. It will let me apply for an instructor license, but that's it

Thanks for the confirmation, guys. Just got a bit anxious thinking maybe I wasn't going to be let in the "cool-guy's" club.

Well, back to waiting.

My info screen has not moved at all! I needed to submit a copy of my passport due to being born out of the country. It still says that they need the paper work that I sent in a week ago. Everytime I call in, I get the just wait answer.

In red says they need paasport
in Yellow Passport Photo Holder Under review
In Yellow Background check Under review
In Yellow Concealed Handgun License : Print pending completion of application review

Is there anything that I can call in to say to get the red and some of the yellows to go green?

I called this morning because it seems that everything has come to a complete standstill at DPS. I think that I got ahold of this lady cause she was a little bit on the rude side . She did say that FBI background checks are still on hold because of the census thing. And she told me that the wait time is 60 days from their receipt of your application. In other words, don't be calling us and bothering us until after 60 days. Be patient, all good things come to those who wait.

So does that apply to those of us who are in the "Manufacturing/Printing" stage? How about they send me the file and I'll get it printed and laminated at Kinkos!!
