Webb,

On those HK, the front of the grip is actually the cocking mechanism for the weapon. So, squeezing the grip is like cocking the hammer on a 1911. They are called squeezecockers by some because if you squeeze the grip, the pistol is cocked and ready to go.

And it's not as freaky as you would think. Actuating the squeeze cocker (about 10 lbs. force), is really intuative and it happens "automatically" when the shooter grips the front strap with a strong grip -- just like any other handgun.
Much less force is required to hold the squeeze cocker in the "in" position. If a p7 is dropped, it "uncocks" itself -- very safe (relatively speaking) pistol. As long as the squeeze cocker is not gripped, the trigger travels all the way
to the frame without resistance.

Curious why you would need/want two nearly identical holsters for 19 and 26? Would the 19 not fit in the same holster designed for the 26?

I have a HN Split Decision for a revolver and just ordered one for a semi-auto. Good holsters.
I have the High Noon Split Decision and use it a lot because it is thin and moves with me more than most holsters I have had do. Good choice and nice guns.

9mmguy,
Nice. I will admit that the only drawback to my Hk P7M13 is the weight......yours look lite and easy to carry.

:confused5 Well, I'd post my new setup but the board attachment quota has been reached.

It's a real nice Kimber Pro Covert in a Garrity's Gunleather In-Cognito Deluxe with Double Mag pouch. I demoted my old Glock 23 for the slimmer 1911 that I'm even more accurate with.

Since my status changed to complete - license issued today here's what I will carry when the plastic arrives later this week. Thinking about a S&W compact but not sure which one yet. If I get one I'll probably trade the lil 380 for it. That thing is really not fun to shoot.

Here is mine with her new (30% off) NRA laser grips.

And snuggeled into her Milt Sparks holster.

I wear the Crossbred holster when my pants are too tight for the Milt Sparks.
