Oh, I dunno. Maybe it will give the guy some appreciation for being taken into peaceful custody by the police who have rules versus being dealt with by his angry neighbors. Glenn Reynolds likes to say that the judicial system and the police don't exist to protect society from the criminals, but to protect the criminals from society. I did too, but then a woman came in and said something to him and he removed his knee from his neck. Whatever she said, it worked.
