Re: First-Time Gun Buyers Explain How Coronavirus Changed Their Politics

even amongst these types of people that are buying a gun, it is an act of hypocrisy. They'll engage a civil right when it suits their purpose, the very same civil right they sought to deny or infringe on when it suited their purpose. It is not a result of them having 'seen the light' of truth, it i...

Re: First-Time Gun Buyers Explain How Coronavirus Changed Their Politics

Regardless of how you feel about them- USE THIS OPPORTUNITY to help convert them! Clearly some people didn't know how the laws in place worked and now have seen the light of day. Belittling them might cause them to revert back... a little compassion (something they are used to) goes a long way to s...

Re: Instructor submitting 101's and 100's

Instructor provides to student. Student submits. Well that's as I was trained, but I'm asking...anything wrong in doing so ? I have had several students mention being "computer illiterate", and if I can help further, why not ? I have sat in the Starbucks several times allowing non-PC-literate stude...

Simple explanation as it puzzled me too. Oriental = Things, Asian = People. That's the current PC def.
Oriental = anything or anyone from the eastern hemisphere
Occidental = anything or anyone from the Western Hemisphere

Re: Oklahoma lieutenant indicted for stopping active shooter

I agree with you and I would do the same if I were ever forced into a self-defense shooting situation. The only problem here is the optics: when police (rightfully) remind one another not to talk without representation, yet there is a perception (driven by movies, TV, and/or real life) that they str...

Re: Found on Reddit today.

This photo was posted. Very little explanation. Other than he had realized a dream. I thought it was curious so many likes for such simple photos. I will let you figure it out. It’s for movie buffs. My google-fu is strong today. I think you'll find this same scene here: https://earth.google.com/web...

Re: Woud be nice to be able to do drills

All these drills that have been posted are great, but you all must have some exceptional ranges in your area if you can actually do them. Of the six ranges I've been to in the NE-SE San Antonio area it's only possible at one. Lone Star has tactical bays to rent. Another one says don't do this stuff...

Re: What happened to R.D Warren Leather?

That's great. I have bought one from him, and consider it my "dress" holster and mag carrier. Same here. I rarely open carry, but when I do, it's with my RD Warren. Last time I did so was on the first day of the 'mask mandate' issued by our Harris county judge Dora the Explorer. Although the...

Re: What happened to R.D Warren Leather?

Thanks, I’ll try those and see if he is still making holsters. Planning on buying a gun that I would be proud to show off in one of his holsters. I’ll post more info if everything comes together as I hope. I sent him a message on Facebook and he responded that he is still taking orders. He took dow...
