Re: Pictures of your "Brown Guns"

Savage Model 87A My Uncle scoped this .22 with a that Weaver K3-1 and gave it to me for my birthday in 1970 and it was bigger than me! I could fill a pickup bed with all the rabbits and squirrels it’s taken! I can still snuff a candle at 50yds with it. I no longer run behind the Beagles and kick bru...

Interested in Mil-Spec load Data

Years ago (before the Black Hills thing) I rescued a lot of 5.56 & .30 Military components that came with the corresponding Mil-Spec load Data (powder and charge). My well worn ('95) Speer 12th Edition shows max loads at about .985 of the Mil-Spec. I am interested in finding similar data for .45 and...

Re: Gen 1 Glock 27 Value

I've used Genitron for a reality check when thinking about a "Like New" i.e. used purchase.

Re: Best kydex holster company I've seen

Grundy Thanks for posting this. I've been looking for a Kydex OWB for a Kimber 3" (ultra carry II) LEFT hand for a couple years now. A "perfect" fit would be level 2 retention... 3" 1911 holsters in kydex are a challenge but add left hand and the only options seem to be 1 Fobus and then custom leath...

Re: What does print pending mean

Submitted renewal 12/19 and got the email request for additional docs wanting to re-confirm my (previously documented) DD-214, I sent it 1/2. Status changed to print pending 1/19 & then to Mailed 1/23. Received today! 3 weeks...I'd say that's a good turnaround for a state agency. Dilly Dilly :clappi...

Re: Hand primer gave up today

Whooaa nooo stop! When you say "it gave up the ghost" what parts do I need to stock up on??? This one caught my eye...I had no idea the Lee Precision Hand Priming tool (auto-priming) round tray is no longer being produced!!! I panicked and went to Google and found its true! I've been Lee single stag...

Re: Outragous - Dicks Sporting Goods

It does not offend me to proclaim my U.S. citizenship. I agree here. This is a simple cover yourself question from the lawyers "We asked, and he said yes". There is no demand for proof. Although...I'm of the opinion that you should be required to present a picture ID when you use a credit/bank card...

Re: GlOcK 19 poll

You shouldn't, either - of all the Glocks, the 19 is the good one (in my not-so-humble, completely 1911-biased opinion) ;-) :iagree: My 19 gen3 went into the safe when the 26 g4 got the ghost connector and plunger work done that smoothed out the trigger. I swapped it over to left hand and thoroughl...
