really now?
i guess the event itself can file for a 30.06 due to it's nature, but the sign travels with the event as a unit, not with the building the event is held at?
does that even make since?
You don't file for a 30.06, you just put a sign up. And you can put them up and take them down as ...

Re: Bicycles and Road Rage
And how much do cyclist pay in road taxes compared to motor vehicles I don't believe they have a registration or safety sticker to pay each year. So when I start to see Lic plates on a bike then I will agree they have equal rights to road use.
They may pay a lot more than you do, depending on ...

Re: Swine flu
To put things into perspective....20,000 people die as a result of complications associated with the common flu every year. .
That actually does put it into perspective. I don't know if 20,000 is in the US or worldwide, but that is almost 55 people per day whereas the current reported deaths from ...

Re: Any PC gamers here?
Just curious if there's any PC gamers on here. More specifically, and Left 4 Dead or Day of Defeat gamers :cheers2:
I used to play quite a bit of CS:Source and Day of Defeat on our game nights at work, and occasionally some DoD on the Texas Militia servers. I've actually been thinking about ...

The DPS website provides no info on the date or author of the FAQ. The document as a whole is current as of Sept., 2007, but the FAQ section may or may not have been updated after the passage of MPA. A link to the FAQ can be found in the left margin at http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/administration ...

Re: Speer Short Barrel Ammo
Anyone have any experience with the Speer short barrel ammo? Specifically I want to know about the 135 .357 and the 135 grain .38+P in lightweight J Frames.
Thanks
The short-barreled 135gr. .357 is the only .357 I find really manageable in my airweight S&W 340PD. It definitely burns better than ...

Re: If you could only own one Sig, which would it be?
229 Elite Dark in .40 or .357 Sig. Back before this configuration was offered, I "built" a nearly identical pistol by buying a standard .40 229 Elite and replacing the Rosewood grips with aftermarket Hogue Extreme Aluminum grips, and it's by far my favorite of the three 229s (and one 239) that I own ...

Analog channels still coming in here. Much ado about nothing? :headscratch
Nope...The full transition has just been delayed till June 12. You won't be getting analog channels after that.

Re: Comp-Tac Infidel
After all of the rave reviews of this holster I am looking into buying one, but I have one question. I know they make the holster for a sig 229r however I have a set of CTC grips on mine, and my current holster had to be modified a bit to be able to accept the pistol with the little laser that ...

If it doesn't have the forward assist, and the Wikipedia article is correct, it would have been a pre-'67 Air Force model. They don't mention anything about select fire, but do specifically mention that the Air Force model didn't have the forward assist, and the Army's model with the forward assist ...

Re: Federal agents are not peace officers right?
I'm sorry if using the correct words confused anyone. "rlol"
But I still think Article 2.122 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure says the feds "shall not be deemed peace officers" in Texas.
That's a CFR definition, not to be confused with reality.
Ok, then how about the English definition ...
