Carry options

I’ve litterially carried thousands of miles in my truck and rental cars. I’ve always CC IWB with either a Crossbreed or a RDR holster. This is the first trip I have made with my Fotbus OWB holster. Mat uncomfortable holster I have ever tried.

I think there was a similar incident during Harvey. where they were in a boat to show the flooding, and someone walked by in shin deep water.

Reporters now feel they must be "part of the story" rather than just telling the story.
My wife and I actually saw that one. It was hilarious.

Re: TSA. & CHL

A further note: I think Texas didn't start issuing Real ID compliant DLs and IDs until late 2016, or maybe in 2017, can't find an exact date. So most Texans still do not have a Real ID compliant DL, just the ones who have been issued a DL since late 2016 or 2017. However, for states that meet all t...

I no longer trust the investigation. Smells like a coverup is ongoing.

TSA. & CHL

My niece was checking her weapon for a flight. Somewhere during the process the counter lady lost my niece’s DL. The TSA would not accept her CHL as primary ID. However, they did accept a CC with her name on it ( that would be really hard to forge- not even a picture on it). Our great TSA at work.

Re: Good Officer encounter

My niece was pulled over for speeding in Austin last week. She received a warning along with a lecture for not having her weapon on her. The Officer stressed that she should always carry her weapon. Yeah, I have heard about others, who when they present their LTC, and don't have their gun, officers...

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

I heard on an Austin radio news broadcast that the victim’s family says that the DPD are now claiming there was a search warrant which had been issued at the time of the shooting. They also claim DPD are trying to smear the Vic’s name with marajuna allegations. This is beginning to smell.

Re: Liberty County Building - Posted

I'm still waiting for an LTC'er to do something illegal in the capital... If we don't break the laws there, I doubt we will break them anywhere. If you are going to assassinate a witness for a relative or the prosecutor (or really anybody), it is just as easy to wait outside. It is simply security ...

Re: Liberty County Building - Posted

I read satistically that LTC holders commit less crime than commissioned Law Enforceent Officers. Therefore, what is the rational for allowing a LEO to carry and not a LTC holder? You're correct, you'e about 100x more likely to be unlawfully shot by a cop than a person carrying under LTC. The fact ...
