The heck? I'd understand having to redo the prints because they didn't get sent or whatever, but why would you have to pay again? Can't you ask for a refund from the people you did the fingerprints previously?

I doubt I could get a refund seeing as how they held up their end of the transaction ...

I know 20 people or so on here that submitted documents up to 20 days after I did and got their plastic in hand within 40 to 48 days and I still haven't received mine and my background is clear. Congrats... I got confirmation on 12/4 and here ...

Called today, was told my CHL100 hasn't been entered in to the system yet... over a month in and background check hasn't even been started.

Asked why it's taking so long to enter paperwork and he said because they have literally hundreds of thousands of applications currently.

Got a call back in response to the e-mail query I sent them awhile back. My application is apparently at the "fingerprints under review" stage. It's a renewal, so they are using the same ones I submitted back in 2010.
