The hell? I'd understand having to redo the prints because they didn't get sent or whatever, but why would you have to pay again? Can't you ask for a refund from the people you did the fingerprints previously?

That's an optional thing, you're not required to get new prints taken if you can prove you've already had them done before. But, it might be faster anyways.

Makes sense now. I didn't notice the "could" in his post.

I doubt I could get a refund seeing as how they held up their end of the transaction. the prints were fine by their standards and were sent. The problem lies with the RSD and their IT problems.

Yes, it's optional... however, this guy with RSD (been there 20 years) told me it would take several weeks to fix the IT problem and it would be quicker to have new prints taken and sent. They cannot move forward with my file until it's fixed or replacement prints are sent. The issue there is that the only place I can get prints done is booked for 2 weeks. what blows my mind is that I've been in "fingerprint review" for a month and why is it that it's taken a month for them to communicate this issue to me? we could've solved this a long time ago.

You have to call early in the morning, like 7am-9am, & never on a Monday.
