Re: How long before I worry?

I sent a completed packet to DPS, last tuesday. and it still says "Packet Mailed to Applicant."

When does it normally change status to Application received, or such?

Well it just changed to "Proccessing Application". 5 weeks later!!!! I hope the processing part does not take as long!!!!

Cool...I would never disclose it, even in a gangbanger situation. I would lose my advantage, and would possibly draw out his.

I think disclosing it to security is just being friendly. Maybe they have found a problem with certain carries, and they want to warn you. No harm.

California CCW permit

Does anyone have one? How hard is it to get?

I may be moving there, and it is definately something I want to pursue. I know they are strict and that it is a MAY issue state.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was just put in charge of security about a year ago. I just took the chl class a month ago. I did not put up the sign, and now I see that it is ...

Thanks! I will look into it a little further, and if I don't find it, I will remove the non-30.06 sign.
