Re: Crossfire Range in Flower Mound

I drove by Crossfire yesterday (without realizing where it was until I saw their sign) and did a u-turn and went in. It is a very nice facility, talked to one of the staff, got the tour, etc. I will go back and put some lead downrange, for sure!! :tiphat:

Re: Medical Marijuana or gun-Feds say cant have both

If it's legal for recreational use (Colorado, DC, etc), no "registration" is required... but you would have to lie on the TX application, which I assume is perjury.. Isn't the statement you swear to that you aren't addicted , not that you don't haven't used it? Makes no difference to me, I can't ev...

Re: Any cigar smokers?

my internal medicine guy wore me down by repeating all the business about greater risk of mouth, throat, esophageal, etc. cancer from smoking cigars. Sorta took the fun out of it. My doc likes cigars/drinking - he put it this way: "You've got to live a little!" I asked him to write a prescription f...

Padron 1964!
The "PAM" as I like to call it - the Padron Anneversario Maduro '64 - when I first started smoking cigars that is all that I would smoke - still one of my faves!!

Re: Any cigar smokers?

Women didn't come in often, except when accompanied by husband or boyfriend. Some women talk a good game of how much they like cigars, but it was my experience they just wanted to fit in...I never encountered a real 'honest to goodness' female cigar smoker. They exist - albeit sightings are rare! :...

Be vigilant and aware of your surroundings

Be vigilant and aware of your surroundings - not just for your own safety but for that of others! I noticed a car that didn’t quite belong in our office parking lot tonight when I left a little after 7. Maybe it’s the IT guy for the lawyer that’s a tenant? Hmmmm...OK, well let’s get out of here, it’...

Just became an NRA Lifer!!

Due to all the craziness going on and these socialist companies cutting ties with the NRA I thought it my duty to step up to Lifetime Membership. And yes, I’ve been “thanking” those companies for influencing my decision, especially to NOT use their services!!

Re: Interesting Non Car Buying Experience

To the OP: buying cars can be a pain in the rear, for sure!

My VP and I have bought 4 cars total from Jason Foshea at Classic Chevy/Thompson Fleet in the last few weeks. He’s straight up and does not play games. If you’d like me to make the intro send me a PM.

TAM - that is very cool what you ARE doing and what your PLAN on doing! On the travel trailer/RV - try renting both larger trailers (if you can) and RVs (you can definitely rent Class A). My parents are down *right* on the Rio Grande in Brownsville for the next few weeks in their coach. They LOVE it...

Re: Switzerland named No. 1 country to live in

I typically go to Switzerland once a year for business, got lucky last year, went twice. Such a beautiful place! Really pricey though. Last year was my first time to end up in the southern part - Locarno...near Italy...WOW! Loved it! Cannot comment on living there but I always do have fun and enjoy ...
