I've heard only good things about TGE. Have not visited personally.

TGE is very nice but also very expensive. They rent the lanes by the hour. $30/Hr.

Thank you. I have a friend staying at the Gaylord and he wanted a range close by. I never get over to that rich City.

Is Quail Creek still open? What about Bass Pro?

I like Eagle Range... and stay away from Elm Fork unless its shotgun.

Yes, its $30.00 for the rental and $15.00 for additional shooters. However, DFW gun range is the same. Shoot Smart in Grand Prairie is $15.99 unless you want a "Suite" and it's $30.99. I have not been to TGE but will be going soon to check it out. Eagle Gun Range is $30.00 for all day with a $20.00 charge per additional shootersJose_in_Dallas wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 9:51 am TGE is very nice but also very expensive. GRITR indoor range is nice. (North Richland Hills).
Lane prices are good. Military & first responder discounts along with Seniors discount. Great staff!

Re: Grapevine - Gun Range
I've visited TGE in Grapevine a few times (they are a few blocks from my office, I could almost walk there if I was really motivated ) and have bought some things from them. It's a REALLY nice store and my interactions with staff have been very good so far. Ammo seemed pricier than normal the last time I was there. They have a REALLY nice Blade Bar for knives and such. Haven't shot there yet as I really prefer to shoot outside if at all possible, but with time being a priority and it getting a little chilly I'll probably visit pretty soon to do test a new full auto setup that I've got.

TGE is really nice and super friendly every time I go, I was actually there a couple of days ago to shoot but they were too busy (40 minute wait). I bought a pistol instead, and they threw in a couple of free mags
It's not cheap, and it's busy, but I like it.

In your experience - which day / time is the best to shoot? From a 'non-waiting, less people on the range' perspective?MadMonkey wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 4:51 pm TGE is really nice and super friendly every time I go, I was actually there a couple of days ago to shoot but they were too busy (40 minute wait). I'm not there enough to have an educated opinion on that unfortunately, I spend a lot of my time outside the countryPUCKER wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 1:01 pmIn your experience - which day / time is the best to shoot? My best assumption is a weekday morning though.
