This is true to many of us but how many times have you heard people ask why you spent $600 on a piece of metal? Especially when you have a "few" others.NcongruNt wrote: I see a lot more uses for my $600 that will actually accomplish something that needs accomplishing.

How can they prove you received it?
I've received two packets so far in the mail. Not certified or receipt requested. They try the mail first, then an official census employee with a plastic ID badge comes to your front door twice and then then you get bumped up to the area manager who will come ...

Re: Anyone Ever Used Kilz Siding/Fence/Barn paint?
You can have Kilz tinted to come closer to the top coat color. It'll never be black, but starting with the red and making it maroon will show better if choosing a dark finish color. I have sprayed Kilz quite a bit with great results. One coat is usually enough to hide the old stain and allow the top ...

Re: CO Sheriff says he'll undermine gun ban
The author certainly lets you know which side he's on when the first sentence contains "voted unanimously Tuesday to place students at both of its campuses in harm’s way with a sweeping weapons ban"

Re: Laser Eye Surgery
I wore contacts for 20 years. I got my eyeballs "sanded down" about four years ago. I still think it's amazing. I couldn't see my toes (before anyone starts with the jokes, look in the mirror) without glasses and now I'm 20/20. I certainly don't miss putting in contacts at 4:30 in the morning to go ...

The long form has been discontinued. Everyone will receive what used to be considered the short form. Now don't think that the government doesn't care about you anymore, they send out 250,000 "surveys" every month to random addresses that includes 15 pages of the questions that some people find ...

I calculated that we needed to go twice a month to break even on the hourly rates - didn't make it. It was convenient and nice to be able to stop in for a quick half hour ...

Re: WTB S&W 442 or 642
In June I was told that the wait at GT was two weeks for a 642. After three months I bought one in stock with a laser grip. In Dec I got a call that the one I ordered in June was available. Still love GT. If you can handle the wait it was $90 cheaper than anywhere else.

Top is a llama, possibly an alpaca. What do I win? I guess I have to stay an hour later at work to make up for the time thinking of animals. Neighbors in Montana have both.
