Re: Texas is now a...

Get those independents out to vote (and make sure they vote Republican) IMHO, that is what Republicans should have been doing for the past at least 5 years. Instead, they have been pandering to the Democrats. The Republicans fail miserably every time that they try to turn themselves into Democrats-...

Re: Combined 30.06 & 30.07 signs.

My presumption is that any business with substantial resources (and the PM of the major office buildings in question certainly qualifies) has access to competent legal advice and therefore made the deliberate decision to post a non-compliant sign. I interpret that as an attempt to thread the needle...

Re: Avoid Maryland

We just drove I-81 in Maryland on Monday. There are construction zones in West Virginia that extend into Maryland but there were no issues otherwise. We didn't see any sign of LE. Having read Kurt Schlicter's books, we refer to the area as "The People's Republic" and are glad to be out of it.

Re: The madness continues

$6M for bail seems about right. It is "unfortunate" that he doesn't feel safe in a jail manned by the same people he hates and wants to kill. I hope that he thinks about that all night, ever night.

And this is why at some point we will have to go guns on! So long as I draw breath I will not allow my grandchildren to grow up in a Socialist Utopia! A long time ago, I used to pray that we would not have a revolution or violent change in the US but that if it was necessary, please let it happen i...

Re: Avoid Maryland

Why go through Maryland at all. Skip up north east of Maryland and then across PA to wherever you need to get to. Part of it depends on where you are going in PA. We go to Lancaster County. If you enter through West Virginia in PA or through Ohio and need to go to some place in PA in the lower part...

Re: Avoid Maryland

Man, just found out today I have to drive to Pennsylvania in next day. Route appears to be through LA, MS, Al, TN, VI, MD, and then in PA. I see this post on front page but post was started in 2014 but quick search states MD has reciprocity with TX (?). Any quick advice on when to lock up gun and a...

Re: Don't be so quick to judge others, get the facts.

I really am not understanding how some of your are arguing this lady’s actions. I guess that shows me your respect for police officers and that you too would be defiant and disrespect authority. Be honest, did you even read the articles? As a family member of LEO's I laughed out loud at your commen...

Re: Protests - the next level?

The part I don't grasp is the leadership of the cities and States permitting this stuff, go back and read about past rioting and looting, the State Police or the National Guard was called up given order to stop the violence, yes rioters and looters were shot and killed and that's when the violence ...

Re: Woman tased at football scrimmage for not wearing a mask

So you think the officer just walked up to the woman and tased her for no reason? Unbelievable how it’s blatant she wasnt complying and being disrespectful to LEO. All she literally had to do was leave or put the mask on! I literally can’t believe there are members defending her actions. Bad analog...

Re: Woman tased at football scrimmage for not wearing a mask

Play stupid games win stupid prizes. All she had to do was leave or put on a mask at a school event .All she had to do was follow the officers commands and she wouldn’t be in this situation. The lack of respect for law enforcement now a days is simply ridiculous. I respectfully disagree. I don't be...

As long as the go to places which are already "infected" by their philosophy, it doesn't make that much difference. In fact, an influx of Liberal women in the Minneapolis might produce interesting results. I might even buy extra popcorn.

Re: KT: Louisville woman killed by police after serving a no knock warrant. CHL boyfriend fired at plainclothed officers

Christ! Now they are saying no knock warrant but the cops did knock and announce. It sux there is no body cam footage. That was my understanding. A no knock warrant was issued, but for some reason the officers decided knock and announce. KY Attorney General said there was corroboration on the knock...

Re: Texas GOP Urges Abbott to ‘Open Texas Now’

Just curious. Does anybody recognize more than one or two names on the State Republican Executive Committee (SREC)? https://www.texasgop.org/leadership-directory/state-republican-executive-committee/ I'll echo ELB. I know both of my SD 12 reps personally. They are down to earth people who are worki...
