My post back on 6/2/2010: "I had been in the "Manufacturing Pending" status for seven days now.
Sooooooooooo I sent the CHL folks a very polite e-mail asking status as my total wait time is now ...

Re: April 2010 applications

PLASTIC! My husband ran home at lunch and both of us received our plastic today.

:thewave

We apparently also received someone else's plastic - a gentleman in Garland's was apparently caught on ours and delivered to us in error (my husband just texted me, so I'm not sure if it was inside our ...

Re: April 2010 applications

Now, what happens if one gets stopped by a LEO before you actually get the plastic?
As long as you are not carrying and have not received your license, you are not required to do anything that you wouldn't have done before you applied.
if they come to you and say "where is your CHL" you just say ...

Now, what happens if one gets stopped by a LEO before you actually get the plastic?

Do the CHL folks allow for mail delay before placing ...

Re: April 2010 applications

I called today and spoke to a very put out girl. She said that my License has been printed and mailed and that I should get it in about a week to 10 days. But the web site still shows that I am manufacturing... Not sure if she is telling the truth or just trying to get me off the phone.

I have ...

Grumble, Grumble!!! 42+ days now and no progress since the 15th of May. I know, I know, they have 60+ days to work their magic. However, I seem to be stuck on Background check. Please tell me that they are not checking on all of my days here on this earth!

Re: April 2010 Application

Not to worry about not sending certified. I sent mine regular, remember, if they lose the packet you can go back to the instructor and fill out the papers. Odds are in your favor that they will not lose it.
