Houston police end no knock warrants.
Needs to happen nationwide.
Very good to hear Houston is severely restricting no knock warrants.

Agreed that this needs to happen nationwide.

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray

Interesting that Goines is worried about being judged unfairly but apparently not about the events that lead up to 4 other injured officers and 2 dead home owners. But I suppose however things work out for Goines, getting shot in the face and neck is probably not something he's going to want to repeat

Re: Feinstein: We Have to Outlaw Pistol Braces Because They Increase Accuracy

LOL, she doesn't want law-abiding Americans to have accurate firearms? Is that because she intends to do us harm? I can't think of any other reason why Feinstein wouldn't want law abiding citizens to have accurate firearms. I mean she's been working in government since the 1960's, having acquired a ...

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray

I salute the Houston MSM for covering this story. We have the right to be safe in our own homes. Looks like Acevedo has come a long way from initially blaming guns and the 2nd Amendment. It's like Sheriff Scott Israel Part 2. I wonder what Rep. Eric Swalwell thinks about what 1 disabled vet defendin...

Risk-Based Planning

I keep thinking about Karl Rehn's RISK ASSESSMENT AND TRAINING NEEDS ASSESSMENT Perhaps because I've also trained in emergency management and risk management it makes a lot of sense to me. Karl's approach assumes personal safety is the primary goal and risk is best reduced by an all-hazards risks as...

Re: Speaker Bonnen's betrayal of Texas gun-owners

Moms Demand is at the capitol today. They also bussed in people from out of town. They'll no doubt be greeted warmly by certain Committee Chairs. https://i.imgur.com/T6XZ5vo.jpg https://i.imgur.com/llziQef.png The squeaky wheel gets oil. While we sit around and do nothing. Would be nice to have a r...

Re: Parkland Rep Predicts Gun-Safety Majority will get Gun Control Through Congress

Congress took an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution and these words:
the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed
If they can't uphold that oath, they don't need to be in office.

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray

While pretending to be hard at work investigating this incident, Acevedo finds the time to push gun control in the U.S. Capitol and on his Twitter feed. https://i.imgur.com/3ccmnKX.png Here's the WaPo article that's linked in the tweet: Houston police chief Art Acevedo urged Congress to act on the ...
