Re: Hero Kills Bystander

If the woman was involved (it is hard to tell from the story) she may not have know what was going down. The bad guys may have told her they needed a ride to buy something. We will never know. Sad that someone lost their life over something so stupid, but that is life as it exists rather than how I ...

Re: What Is / Are Your CCW Gun(s)?

Depending upon where I am going and how I will dress I choose between Ruger LCP 380, Ruger P95DC 9mm, or Rock Island 1911-A2 45 Doublestack.

Re: Would you shoot?

With my age and medical history I'm not debating, I'm shooting. :tiphat:

There is a good old saying that applies here: "He who hesitates is lost." In other words a person who spends too much time deliberating about what to do loses the chance to act altogether. Better him on the ground and me ...

Re: I caught one... now what? (scenario)

I had some questions and concerns about what I should/could do if a situation like this happened in my home. After reading this post I have decided to go over with my family what to do if a situation like this happened. Thanks again to the forum for always providing great feedback for any situation ...

Re: Houston Banning Carry at Pride Events

The 30.06 posted on the website says I should not enter this property while carrying concealed. Do they mean the virtual property of the website or are should I avoid the physical property where the website host server is located? ;-)

Gay Pride logic can be a little confusing to us non-members ...

Just leave it at the police station as a found item. She can pick it up from the police at the station.

Re: Mitch McConnell Allows Another Gun Control Vote

It looks to me that this bill was introduced by a Maine Republican Senator who is in a tough re-election fight. So probably the whole thing is to give her some cover. Doing the right thing always seems to take a back seat to re-election. :???:

Re: The type of opinion the libs don't want to hear

With the history of this administration and that of the anti-gun folks, I believe one thing firmly. They will tell any lie to the public in the furtherance of their agenda. As such, I feel that currently the media is just an extension of them and will dutifully repeat whatever they are given, true ...

Re: Rancher on horseback lassoes would-be bike bandit in Walmart parking lot

What a strange story. Does the rancher take his horse around fully saddled with rope at the ready or is the police response and the criminals escape exceedlingly slow? It is a great feel-good story, but one that puzzles me when I consider the time management of the characters in this adventure ...
