And on the LEO part, they can enter public or private armed. ;-) I'm sure you know, but you only mentioned "legal right to enter publicly open property armed always." However, it's not a right, it's a privileged, because it can be taken away, restricted, and suspended by their boss. Mere technicality I guess, but I think of it as a permission as a LEO to be able to carry. They aren't a superior class of citizen with more rights, there just a citizen with more privileges. I can imagine that such statement may be contested, from what I have been taught, that is a fact.

Concerning LEO. I would say their gun is a tool, and or required equipment that may be needed to do their job, not a right or privilege. But what do I know?

You are absolutely right about the tool part, but I try avoid that terminology on this forum when I can. My Glock has always been a tool necessary to do my job, but it's not exactly relevant terminology to use with so many non-LEO's here. I still consider it just an extra privilege, but I know we're still off topic, so I'll stop, but I had to comment. :thumbs2:

Back-on-topic....Our barber/beauty shop here in Leonard has the small concealed carry welcome sign on their door too. Chuck (the owner) even hosted a CC class there one weekend.
