Wally World Walk wasn't as nerve wracking

Post by meileigh »

Got my CHL in just 3 weeks so I wasn't prepared to have to do my Wally World walk so soon.
I was nervous at first but my boyfriend went with me which helped. We went to McDonalds first and after that my nervousness fell away. We ended up spending over 1.5 hours walking around and shopping. We visited almost every department and some several times.
I know now that my nervousness was due mainly to thinking I had more time to 'prepare' for my walk which is kind of funny since I have wanted my CHL for several years now.

Welcome to the club and the forum Meileigh.

That first wally-walk is almost always less eventful that folks think it will be. Heck, the way things have been the last few years, you were probably more likely to have more excitement in the McD's than wally world.

She did great. She's actually packing my edc, a G26 IWB. Now we start the task of finding the true perfect (haha) carry pistol and method for her. Fun times ahead!

Yeah. I took pics. She learned that even though it printed slightly, nobody is thinking outside their little world and even began to notice.

Heck, I am looking at the pics and cannot determine where the gun is. That doesn't count as printing in my book -- she is good to go!

I had to look hard to find it - she's definitely good to go!

As good looking as she is no one would notice if she was open carrying.
Gun control is like stopping drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to drive.
