Can I get CHL with charges
I'm trying to get my CHL. In 2001 I was arrested for assault with intent for bodily injury, but I was bonded out the next day and nothing ever came of the charges. It shows on my record I was arrested for this but nothing else. Can I still get my CHL if I did not go to court.

Welcome to the forum. You'll need some official paperwork stating disposition, because you'll have to provide that information during the application process.

And by doing that you may remind them that they forgot or missed prosecuting you.

As stated, you will need papers showing the disposition of the case. Charges will need to have been dropped and not still pending or the case dismissed. If charges are still pending then you will not be eligible until they are dismissed.
