THEFT

Post by MONGOOSE »

i have a friend who had about 30 weapons stolen from his shop......COPS couldn't have cared less about the theft, They just wanted to know why he owned so many weapons and why he kept them at his shop. He was treated like he had committed a crime.

Point? Just venting?
Bashing LE based on hearsay is frowned upon here.

Maybe posting a list with descriptions and serial numbers would help find the thieves if they try to sell them.

Frustrated with the attitude I guess.....good news though. he found most of them himself at a local pawn shop.

Fair enough. Was your friend able to convince the pawnshop those were his guns?

How long ago did this happen since he was able to find them at a pawn shop before the police did?

Police could care less. Even after he informed them of the where abouts. We are pretty liberal out here. ( Establishment) He got them himself.

Hi Mongoose,

It is easy to have a lot of money invested in your guns. That is why I have a heavy-duty gunsafe...well worth the money. Get it professionally bolted down in your house or garage. Yes, thieves can still get into gun safes but it is much more difficult to steal guns in those than out of your garage or bedroom closet.
