Don't Mess with Texan's BBQ

Post by WildBill »

AUSTIN, Texas (KEYE) — Austin Police say they've arrested a woman after she attacked her brother for eating her barbecue ribs.

According to the arrest affidavit, Ethel Jean Banks, 61, is charged with aggravated assault (family violence), a second-degree felony.

It happened Sunday, Sept. 27 around 6:50 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of Hergotz Lane, just east of Highway 183 and south of the Colorado River.

The victim says Banks attacked him after they began to argue over the barbecue--ending with Banks charging at him with a butcher knife, court documents say.

The victim ran from the home and called 911. Court documents say the victim didn't know the ribs belonged to Banks.

The affidavit says Austin Police responded to a similar incident between Banks and a family member back in June.

Well I presume he knew they did not belong to him, so who did he intend to take these ribs from? ;-)

Hilarious and true.

When segments of our Society place more value on a meal than human life theirs not much left to salvage and we haven't even hit the worse part of the collapse of these Un-United States. I guess those EBT cards may not be going as far as they used too. Beef prices are pretty good right now...
