Revolvers

Post by Houston1944 »

Here's a couple for the S&W revolver fans. The top one is a 24-3 44spl made in 1986. The bottom one belonged to my uncle. It is an old model S&W 38spl. Based on the serial number is was made around 1939 to 1941. The 24-3 is as accurate a revolver as myself and a few others have ever seen. The old 38spl is not a bad shooter either.

Very nice couple. I really like that 24 with it's partridge front sight, target trigger and target hammer. It just screams BULLSEYE!
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

I love revolvers.
The top one is a S&W Model 29-2 - Night Sights with professional trigger job.
The bottom one is a S&W Model 686-5 plus - Professional trigger job and Extreme Duty Rear Sight. - This one is my new carry gun.
