Is it just me or is the wording ambiguous?
What "effects" are they referring to?
CHLers being happy because they'll no longer be concerned if a bit of their concealed guns are seen?
That "effect"?
Or, antis having a conniption when they see OC?
Or, LEO's potentially harassing OCers or not bothering to check on OCers when they OC?
Or, old ladies passing out in a dead faint if they see someones OC gun?
Or...?

Yes, I wonder if my new OC gun/holster will make me look fat?

Chance favors the prepared. Making good people helpless doesn't make bad people harmless.

Sometimes I really wish a lawyer would chime in and clear things up. Do we have any lawyers on this forum?

I voted No - wanted to see what the Poll currently shows... and currently its at 67% No - don't see where it says number of people voting so it might not have alot of votes yet. But that number feels about right, about what I'd expect.

The only "effect" I'm aware of is that it will cause some liberals to get their frilly lace panties in a wad.
You can't imagine how little I care about that.

They must not like the results. All I'm getting is a "page not found" error when I click to see the poll.

If the poll doesn't come back up pretty quickly (i.e. it's just some kind of site error), then I agree. If they closed the poll, the page should say so, maybe show the final results. If it just disappears, then yeah, they got an answer they didn't like.mojo84 wrote:They must not like the results. ...
ETA: I just searched KHOU's website for "poll" and nary a hint of open carry. But they still up two polls for pot, and one claiming that the "HERO" ordinance in Houston was ahead in their poll...

When I clicked the link it went to a different poll - the link does say 'daily poll' - do they post a new one daily ? and what happens with the poll from the day before ?

Well at least I go my vote of NO in before they switched or whatever.

When I search on "poll" nothing about the past daily polls seems to pop up. Down the memory hole I guess. "No" was at 69% last I saw.Pariah3j wrote:When I clicked the link it went to a different poll - the link does say 'daily poll' - do they post a new one daily ? and what happens with the poll from the day before ?
