GlOcK 43!!!!!
Who else carries one everyday? I freaking love mine! Also carry an extra mag! Man it's a sweet gun!!
Re: GlOcK 43!!!!!
Sorry... Just not a fan of Glocks... I have a XDs 9 that I use as my EDC and its fairly comparable from everything I've read online. So I understand the love for the compact single stack 9mm.

Re: GlOcK 43!!!!!
I don't like XDs lol. But I love single stacks as week!
Re: GlOcK 43!!!!!
As an owner of a 17 and 26, I was pretty disappointed with my 43's trigger. Hoping to do a 25 cent trigger job on it this week. If that doesn't help, this may be the first Glock I am looking to replace the connector on.cmgee67 wrote:Who else carries one everyday? I freaking love mine! Also carry an extra mag! Carry wise, I like mine a lot as well.

I really like the 43, and if I am carrying, it will be a Glock of some number.

I am waiting for my holster to arrive, then I'll start carrying mine. Otherwise I've been carrying a G17 a lot lately.

I did the 25cent on mine and improved it a little. Added a Ghost Edge a couple of weeks later. BIG improvement!goose wrote:As an owner of a 17 and 26, I was pretty disappointed with my 43's trigger. I am a simple caveman lawyer, and I do not understand. What is this "25 cent" trigger of which you speak?mcscanner wrote:I did the 25cent on mine and improved it a little. BTW, I added a Ghost +2 magazine extension to the spare mag that came with mine: http://www.ghostinc.com/product/GHO_43_ ... --MED.html

Re: GlOcK 43!!!!!
I carry a Sig P229 in 9mm most days. This is my defense against 2 legged threats. 15+1 with a spare mag gives more than enough firepower to fight my way to a long gun. In a pinch I've carried it into the woods (Minnesota is full of Bear, wolves, and mountain lions.) Recently I picked up Sigs 10mm. Its thin enough to carry everyday, all day, but its heavy. I'll keep the 10mm for four legged threats. The best compromise, in my limited opinion, would be a P229 in .40 S&W.
Re: GlOcK 43!!!!!
I carry my G19 when I think it's gonna be a really rough area but my place of employment allows me to carry and it's easy to carry my 43 with an extra mag everyday. Plus it conceals so well. What's the 25 cent trigger job as well? I wouldn't mind knowing either
Re: GlOcK 43!!!!!
This is not exactly a perfect match. The G43 has a slightly different plunger shape? I haven't busted mine apart just yet. But this will get you there.
The idea behind the 25 cent trigger job is to polish all of the "contact points" for the trigger mechanism without replacing parts, per se. The trick, obviously, is to only polish. Do not remove material. If you/we/I remove material, generally speaking we get to replace parts.

I have been reading your posts for years! I don't mean to sound flippant or insincere when I say that it's kind of cool to get a "thank you" from TAM.The Annoyed Man wrote:Thanks!

I want a Glock 43 so bad! I carry my G19 and love it, but there is something about that little single stack that won my heart....

Re: GlOcK 43!!!!!
I love mine. It's been my primary EDC since I picked it up in June or so. It's super comfortable & concealable in shorts/t-shirt. Now that we're back to jacket & sweatshirt weather, the 19 will probably get the majority of my carry.
