Been carrying for many years and my EDC is a Tuarus PT140 (.40 cal). I like the size of the weapon but the small capacity (10 rd x 2 + 1 in chamber =21 rds) has been a concern of mine, especially with the "world situation".
My other weapon is a Ruger P89 9mm. She is old and heavy the but extra 5 rds per magazine seems very attractive. Add an additional mag and I now have 45 rds at my disposal. It's a great winter carry but a little large for summer carry (especially here in TX). With a good belt and holster, it sure feels solid on my hip.
What's your opinion....carry the .40 in summer and the 9mm in winter or stick with the PT140? I shoot both very well but not sure I want to switch out what I carry.
Thanks for your opinion.
Regards from Hill Country....
