Hornady LnL AP with Case Feeder (and more) $800

Post by OldCannon »

This is a complete Hornady LnL AP system with case feeder and bullet feeder system (non electric) for 40 & 9mm. All that's missing is caliber dies (I'm keeping those). I've used this system to load about 300 rounds, but never got to ramp it up to the level I wanted....running an FFL business + full time work = no significant time to reload. And now that I'm starting my graduate program in January, I KNOW I won't be touching it for the next couple of years. If you ever wanted to get a reloading press that's almost "turnkey", here's your chance.

All these components add up to way over $1200, so this is clearly not a "starter press." I get that. But if you want to jump into an auto loading press that will last you for a decade (if not longer), this is a great offer.

Truth in advertising: I never used the priming system in the LnL. In fact, I completely distrust all priming systems in presses with the exception of the Dillon 1050 (which swages the primer pocket and primes on the downstroke). So, I can't seem to find the little $0.25 spring that works the primer feed return. If you want to use the priming system, you'll have to ask Hornady for a replacement part (they also offer lifetime guarantee on their presses).

Note: I would prefer NOT to ship this, but I'll ship it for whatever my actual cost is if you want. The press is big and heavy (as it should be). Unless you live in El Paso or Amarillo, it might be cheaper to drive to me than to have it shipped.

I believe this is a complete list of all the components that are included. It's possible I left one or two items out.
Hornady LNL AP
Electric Case Feeder (Pistol)
2 extra LnL Bushing 3 Pack: $43
Die maintenance kit
Hornady wrench
40sw bullet feeder die
9mm bullet feeder die
Rcbs powder lockout die
Shell plate #10
Shell plate #8
Inline Fabrication Ergo Roller Handle
Inline Fabrication Lighting strip
Inline Fabrication Dual Bin Holder
Hornady 9mm Bullet Feeder Rubes (6)
Hornady 40S&W Bullet Feeder Tubes (6)
Powder thru expanders
Case activated lower assembly
Lnl pistol metering insert.
400 (40S&W) powder expander
3pk retainer spring
Ptx powder measure stop
355 (38spl & 9mm) powder expander

The bullet tubes are new. I've been using a clear plastic tube for the 40 S&W that I reloaded. That's included too

Sorry about the messy work area. This pretty much captures my life right now...messy

If you read this far, you get the sob story: I had to have urgent gall bladder surgery at the beginning of this month. I kinda need to sell this to help pay my surgery bill :grumble

Actually if you work for yourself and make good living for your family, your cost is 3X. Family plan are some $18,000 per year.

Even on Medicare, and after my Kindney transplant, I am still paying $100 per month for the next few years.

These are fun things to discuss, but it's not helping me sell the reloading setup
