New CHL aplicant with alot of questions
To start I took my class in 2014, and I am nearing the 2 year mark to apply for my license. I just submitted my license fee 2 days ago and I had my fingerprints done this morning. I now have several questions about the application. On the application I filled out I used auto fill and I think I made a mistake. When it was asking for my information I accidentally submitted my current location that I live instead of city and state of birth. I didnt realize I did this wrong until I was helping my dad fill out his form. What should I do? Will they contact me about correcting it or will I have to fill out the form again and pay another $140? My next question is how do I submit my chl 100 form. After taking the class I scanned the document into my computer and I filed the original away. Do I have to send in the original or is there a way to submit my scanned file online? Sorry for all the questions but I dont know who else to ask, I personally do not know any CHL holders (in texas).

You should call them to edit your application. Also, you can submit the CHL100 online. There's a website...its documented in the emails you get from DPS after your submit your application online.

Everything you need is going to be there. I second the above comment - call them about the mistake on your application, I'm sure it's happened before. They were very helpful when I had to call about my application status.

For some reason, I thought one only had 1 year to submit the application after taking the course.
EDIT: Nevermind. I found an old thread where Charles states it is good for 2 years.

Call them and explain the mistake, they will help you correct it.
I (autocorrect) misspelled my last name on my application
, and I was able to get it corrected.
