Hello, I'd like to apply for my Texas CHL but I'm not sure with my past. In 1992 I was admitted to a hospital for attempted suicide I was there for 2 days, does this disqualify me?

possibly, were you diagnosed with suicidal ideology? manic? or anything else that continued care was recommended or required as part of your release? If continued psychiatric care or psychotherapy was recommended or required as part of your release you may have to have a psychiatric review and release from a licensed psychiatrist as not likely to reoccur before the DPS will allow a license to be issued. and those are hard to get as most head shrinkers are against gunz..... they say gunz are baad mmmmkay, wanna get high?

Thanks for the reply. I was there for 2 days no special treatment talked with a Dr a couple of times and he said I didnt need to be there so they sent me home. That was it never heard another thing about it.
