WTB Marlin Levergun in houston (Bought)

Post by T3hK1w1 »

Looking to take a job that will involve coming FTF with large wounded animals, have decided I want either a 336 chambered in .35 rem or maybe a big bore such as a 444 Marlin or .45-70. Not the best place to look I know, but I have had success so far and am more inclined to trust someone from here over one of the larger forums.

I got one, ty all :o

Here you go bud... This is a NICE looking gun. Seems to be what you are looking for as well... I am not the seller but have seen this on another forum.

Stainless Marlin Guide Gun, Model 1895GS, in 45-70. 18.5-inch unported barrel, Leupold VX-II 1-4X20 variable scope in Warne Maxima quick detachable rings and Warne steel bases. I have coated the factory wooden stock with 12 coats of Duplicolor textured rubber. It's a beautiful rifle, and has 10 rounds put through it since it left the factory. It comes with a factory Marlin marked leather sling and stainless swivels. Price is $750 or possibly trade for other firearms. Feel free to PM or email me with trade offers. I've got a lot of money invested in this rig, so I'm fairly firm on the price. I'll shoot some better photos as soon as this the rain decides to leave. I'm located in San Antonio. Thanks!

He said price reduced to $700.

Yes, I have seen this ad, but I would dry-heave every time I looked at that stock. Just call me a traditionalist and  if you must :o Also, I can get a brand-new one in 444 marlin for $600, and I'm not gonna run a scope on it anyway :???: Thanks for the mention though!
