AK 47 scope mount

Post by sailor2000 »

Anyone have experience with an AK 47 scope mount that replaces the forend? What brand / model was it? Did it hold zero? Does it return to zero after removing the gas tube for cleaning?? I want a good way to mount a red dot sight...

I put one on my Dads Mini 14 and my M1 Carbine. Does what you ask.

Yep, it works great for red dot sights. I wouldn't want to put my 20X scope on it, but for 1X red dot it works great.

Be careful about heat buildup if you're into rapid fire drills, you can literally melt a scope.

I have a sight rail scope mount

I don't have a super uber scope either, but it lets me keep all 30 rounds in 8" at 100 yrds

I really want to get that synthetic stock that is 1.25" longer than stock because the wooden one is way too short
