[ Cooke County ] Sheriff's office to host meeting on open carry Jan 27

Open carry has been in effect throughout the state of Texas for less than two weeks and Cooke County Sheriff Terry Gilbert said questions about the new law still remain on the minds of many.

On Wednesday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m. the Cooke County Sheriff’s Office will host an open carry question and answer meeting at the Cooke County Justice Center located at 300 County Road 451, in Gainesville.

“Come out and lets talk about it [the new law],” Gilbert said Tuesday afternoon.
