That isn't difficult... Goode is $20/pound for brisket.
oh I have almost stopped eating at goode bbq their prices are outrageous. And its not really as good as it used to be. I really want to try brooks place out somtime. They give better discounts if you carry a handgun and AR? lol
Visited Brooks BBQ today. Brought the wife and kids. There were 4 other gentlemen sitting down enjoying their food. i was a little disappointed that no one was OC. I still haven't seen any other OC in the wild.
Two older women showed up later as we were preparing to leave. I was placing a to-go order when from the corner of my eye I noticed a reaction when my firearm was observed. When my order was ready they commented that my kids were very handsome. One of them stated that she was a teacher at a community college and was expecting a much scarier experience seeing OC, but was surprised that the experience was benign. I asked her she had seen anyone else OC, and stated I was the first one. She expressed some concern with guns in the classroom. I should have mentioned the crime rate for LTCs was lower than police officers, but my mind seized up with a dozen other facts at once. I just said it shouldn't be a problem, smiled and bid them farewell.
Also the BBQ was very good, and I plan to visit every time I'm in Houston.
