I have done that and it hasn't changed. I guess I could keep asking. I just think the TABC doesn't really care either... At least not when it's the 4 Seasons.

Having worked in the hotel business, there were a couple of places I worked where the bar was a separate business with a lease for the bar area. This was done because the hotel owners did not want to deal with the TABC or couldn't get a license.

In most cases like this the drinks on premise are restricted to the bar area. However, they don't have to be, and that means the whole area defined when as 'premises' when the license was obtained is off-limits to carry.
