Question about a CHL

Post by Tbradley92 »

Hello, I am an Active duty Army soldier that has a Colorado state drivers licences with a Colorado state CHL/CCP (Concealed carry for hand gun). Well my question is I got stationed in Texas and wanted to know if my Colorado state licences are legal there or what i need to do to carry legal in Texas. Like i i said I am in the military so i move around often. My home of records is in Washington State. I just want to make sure I'm legal so if i get stopped by police or if for some reason I have to use my gun in a defense situation. Thank you.

This website is nice. It lets you check all the states against each other, on what is accepted and not. You also need to know the laws of the state you carry in and it helps with that also.

No problem. It was passed to me during my CHL class. I thought it was extremely useful no matter where you are from or where you are traveling.
