Soon to have more LTC

Post by Jago668 »

Had a crime watch meeting at the apartment complex tonight. Before the officer arrived people were talking about various concerns. One lady a Navy vet expressed interest in having a pistol to carry. Discussion from there about requirements, etc. Two other ladies joined in also interested. They all exchanged numbers and are going to help each other out in the process. So looks like we'll be adding 3 new LTCs to our ranks in the coming months. Two of the ladies are married, so potentially 5 if their husbands join them.

So good day for the LTC community. Hope next month's crime watch that they have either taken a class or are scheduled for one.

So here's what you do: recognizing an audience, prepare a one page flier that briefly explains what a LTC is, the background requirements, where they can get further info, info on schools that teach basic skills as well as licensing, and make this info available to everyone in the complex. You just might get more than 5 new LTC's.....

Awesome!! The more the merrier. The more people ( male or female) we can enroll to our "club the better.
Every new LTC holder not only increases our ranks, it brings in their circle of friends who become more educated and less fearful of us as a whole.

Thank you for the idea. I will have to work something up before next month. Research time, since I don't really know schools on this side of town. I took my class from crossfire training at cabelas in fort worth.

Don't forget that several instructors will do small group classes, and some will even do them on-site rather than having the group go to a "school" environment.

Great news. Would like to see all law abiding Texans carrying 24/7.

Here is a positive side effect of the LTC, there is a massive voting block being created, most if not all LTC holders will undoubtedly vote to protect their right to carry, and vote for more freedom to protect themselves. The last count of LTC that I know of was 925,000, with DPS expecting to pass 1 million this year! That is a huge voting block by anybodies standard!
