I've bought a couple off there with no problems. The first one was a FTF in DFW. The 2nd one was from up North somewhere but he shipped to a Local DFW FFL that I lined up and the deal was good.

That being said, you have to be careful. I am sure there are rip off artists there as with any other type of open selling board (eBay).

Its not really Guns America that you have to look out for when buying. GA is kinda like ebay, they just facilitate the listings. You would do best to check out the person or dealer that you are purchasing the item from first. Give them a call to discuss your transaction. Anything you can do to get more information never hurts.

I have purchased several guns thru GA from Dealers across the US. I have had excellent deals and the outcomes were perfect. I would not hesitate to make future purchases there... That is if my wife will give me some money.

GA is a classified ads site. Auction Arms is an auction site (as is bluebroker.com).

They have no role in the transfer, any more than if you'd bought a gun through your local classifieds.

GunsAmerica

I am an FFL dealer and have used GunsAmerica many times to buy and sell without the first problem... so far.

They have recently changed the web site and I don't think it is as user friendly as it was, but, then I am not a techno freak.

Good experiences have kept me using them

I've bought through them and Gunbroker - sold through them as well. Easy to use system, nice enough.

I always ask for current pictures, and you can always ask them to put a certain item or a piece of paper with a phrase next to the item - like their handle or the date. Thats a good way to know they have the item right there and the pictures are recent.
