Use this time wisely. Practice not only shooting but carry and concealment meathods around your home.

DON'T CHECK THE DPS WEBSITE MORE THAN ONCE A WEEK. IT WILL DRIVE YOU NUTS.

Huff it takes a month or two to get it for most everyone.

I know that it can take up to 60 days, I have only been back in Texas for one year now, so it will probuly take longer for the out of state checks. I did have a carry card in Tennessee so that might help.

Just my dumb luck. Leave on a trip to Tennesse on monday and there is no way my plastic will be here tomorrow, the last day I will get mail until my return.
