I have a barely used K-Var Arsenal SLR-106CR, which is a Bulgarian variant on an AK-74. It typically runs about $1100 new.
The manufacturer's website for the rifle is here: https://www.k-var.com/shop/SLR106-62.html
The SLR-106 series was discontinued in 2013, despite doing very well in the market partly due to its chrome-lined and hammer-forged barrel. Don't let this future collector's item pass you by!
This rifle is chambered in 5.56, has a 1:7 rifling twist, and includes the removable muzzle attachment. It has had less than 50 rounds fired. It has not been altered or customized from its factory build.
---------------------------------------------------------------
It was gifted to me by a friend for helping him on the range, but I'm really not a fan of AK styles, so I've never fired it. He says he shot about 50 rounds then cleaned it.
I will take $950 cash, but would prefer to trade for an AR-15 of comparable value. This AR-15 must come with sights of some kind (I don't care if it's a scope, red dot, iron sights, pop-up, whatever. Just some kind of sights.), and must be chambered for 5.56 - not .223. Extras such as handguard options, tactical gear, optics and such are always welcome, but will not make up for a worthless rifle (no Model 1 Sales, please). I'm not picky about brand, I just don't want the thing to blow up from shoddy construction.
Included with the firearm is a hard case, 5 rd mag, two 30 rd mags (one of which may be defective according to last owner), and basic web sling.
I am willing to drive as far as 3 hours for a trade.
Thank you for considering parting with your beloved black gun!
