Interesting Hospital Experience Today

Post by Oldgringo »

A couple, three weeks ago, I had a cardiac ablation. It apparently went well with no blood thinners required thereafter. Today, I went into the heart hospital for an afternoon appointment which I there learned was to attach a heart monitor of some sort. Inasmuch as our hospital system is not posted, I usually CC. Once in the patient exam room, I was told to raise my shirt so that the monitor's electrode stickum gizmos could be attached to my person. The young nurse never batted an eye upon seeing my once CC transform from a CC to a full blown OC. I thought that was pretty cool.

Glad to hear everything went well with your procedure.

That is Great! Hope all goes well with your physical condition.

Had that Nurse been my Daughter (an RN) she also...would not have batted an eye. Probably would have engaged you in conversation about it, in fact.

She is Texas born and raised, grew up shooting, hunting etc. Not everyone thinks guns are 'scary'.

Thanks for sharing.
