Haven't carried in 3 weeks

Post by nyj »

Since my CHL expired. Renewed on the second of January, called today and was told that they are "working on my background check" and if I don't receive it in 2-3wks to call them back. So much for the 45 day renewal time.

And yes, it's my fault for not doing it sooner, but still frustrating.

Well, welcome to the club. :cheers2: Been there, done that. My license expired in June of 2014 & I didn't renew until Oct. 2014. But back then there wasn't a rush or backlog & the wait time was something like 47 days. So, I beat ya! I didn't carry for something like 4 months, and I didn't get out of the house unless I had to! Hope you don't have a long wait.

This is one of those times when a Florida or some other states reciprocal license would be good to have.
