found this on another gun site

I thought some of you might want to participate in this poll & help out some of our Idaho friends.

http://www.lmtribune.com/

The poll asks whether or not private citizens should be able to carry weapons in public buildings.

Sure, why not...What is the difference???

Unless you wish to believe that by banning them you believe the place is safer without them and those who would not be a problem to anyone but to those who wish to do harm...

Yeah, thats idea has worked real well in places like VT, COlumbine, Luby's, etc etc etc...

Yes
69% - 856 votes
No
31% - 384 votes

A very interesting aside, and notable is they have numbers of votes cast in other polls, also. Currently, the gun control issue is second only to Hillary Clinton. This is meaningful
Folks if we start packing these polls, then it becomes evident that the pro gun lobby is awake, strong, and active. That means more politicians will chose not to pander to the antis. A lot of politicos are already seeing the hand writing on the wall. Let's add weight wherever we can.
Ø resist

Take away the second first, and the first is gone in a second.

Well, the gun poll is obviously a more important issue than Hillary.

That's my thoughts; and if we can help people in other state with just the click of a mouse, why not?
I realize these are not scientific poles, but if they stay active and the readings are in our direction, it could get the attention of both the politicians and the liberal news media. (Liberal news media makes some of its money from subscribers.)

I wonder if all these polls really influence anyone. Since VT there has been a bazillion polls and every 2nd amendment supporting American has voted pro gun any poll that was found.

Media are still biased, people still have irational fears of guns.
Media will still spin it how they want.

I voted BTW

I don't think they matter. especially in this case. II believe almost every Idahoian was either born hanging on to a rifle, or had a couple of revolvers strapped on to them when they crossed over the state line.
Us RKBAers are different than the antis. The antis are mostly a bunch of independent bunch of whiners and grumblers. They don't hang out together If you go to websites that they hang out at you will find that they are a foul nasty bunch that find each others company offensive. See Daily Koz or Eschaton ( check with Google I refuse to provide them links and they aren't 10 year old daughter safe) Although sometimes well funded by obsesive millionaires they are not served by legions of volunteers and donators. (Have you ever met a real member of the Brady Bunch?) while the anti-gunners are plentiful they won't hang around together much. While us gunners like to talk, shoot and generally hangout together.

pollsters and and politicians all know that as soon as word gets out about a poll every gunner will their friends. The antigunners just don't have the thousands of websights to hang around. They don't have the hundreds of forums and blogs.

At any rate thats my theory. YMV
