Sorry, but I really like the "Ring with 4 Dots" reticle on my EXPS3 and have NO intention to return.

I have it zeroed at 50 yards per instructions and it has been out in the summer sun for two days in a row, in the rain, banged about and have not experienced any issues. With the 3X flip down magnifier behind it, it is a very nice set-up. YMMV.

I had the EXPS3 as well. The main issue I take is that EoTech changed their product manuals with new performance specifications when they found out that their product did not hold up to original claims. They did not make any attempt to tell consumers that there may be issues until the government decided to sue them. Although I did not notice any performance errors with my EXPS3 that I can recall, I probably would have just chalked it up to user error. Ultimately, at nearly $700, I expect more from a product. The fact that EoTech is willing to give out full refunds, no questions asked, implies that they are well aware that they were in the wrong.

Today I applied my refund, and then some, to a new ACOG TA31 with green horseshoe sight. Hopefully it will arrive sometime this week and I can take it out over the weekend.

I had the exact same experience with a XPS2 that I had. Even held zero removing and reinstalling. However, the other one I had would never hold zero. At first I thought it was user error but I could zero it one day and the next it was off 2 MOA. There are many stories just like mine. For unknown reasons, at least to me, some of them simply won't hold zero.

There were also many reports of less than stellar battery life. Another problem that only affected one. One wouldn't hold zero and the other sucked batteries like I was a shareholder in Duracell.

Overall I liked what I had, and the reticle was the biggest reason, had they not had problems. I hope at some point they fix the issues. I would own another if they did.
My guns won't be illegal, they'll be undocumented. :thumbs2:

This is one of many reasons why I follow TexasCHLFORUM. Good info from reasonable and knowledgeable folks. Thanks!
