Today a friend offered me his 11-87 Remington in 12 ga with an extra barrel for $600. Depending on the model (Premium or normal), wood or synthetic stock, and condition, that might be worth it. Of course I will offer less than $600 and will have to look at it to determine what kind of 11-87 it is and what condition it's in, but if it's all O.K., I'd say it's worth $500 -550. Opinions?

My favorite shotgun I owned when I was a kid growing up was a Remington 11-87 in .410 guage. It had a beaded ramped front sight which I thought was interesting.
