Called RSD
I called RSD to get a status update I was all in feb 22 the lady was nice but she sounded like an automated system but she stated that they were still processing applications from the end of January so they haven't really started on febuary yet so next week will be 60 days for me so I won't see my plastic until the end of May early June over 120 days ughhhhh

Re: Called RSD
They need to STOP WORKING on apps sent in March or later, and get the ones done for those of us who are approaching or have exceeded the 60 day timeline. That there is the problem.
And February 22nd to now is not 60 days. 60 days is 3 business months, or for you, around May 22nd.

If she stated that they haven't started on February's apps yet then I'm fairly sure they also haven't started on Marches yet either. Also, it is 60 days, not 60 business days.SplittinHairs wrote:They need to STOP WORKING on apps sent in March or later, and get the ones done for those of us who are approaching or have exceeded the 60 day timeline. Re: Called RSD
It makes wonder what the real truth is. They say they're still working on late January, yet some from Feb and even March have gotten there plastic, or at least a change of status. So either the people from Feb and March are fibbers, or DPS has zero rhyme or reason for their process. I'm afraid it depends on the motivation of the worker. I bet there are workers who process "X" number per day, and those who process way less. So frustrating.

I was excluding saturdays and sundays cause I assume nothing was done on off days.C-dub wrote:If she stated that they haven't started on February's apps yet then I'm fairly sure they also haven't started on Marches yet either. RSD is supposedly working weekends to get caught up....

That is very likely, but those days still count towards the 60.SplittinHairs wrote:I was excluding saturdays and sundays cause I assume nothing was done on off days.C-dub wrote:If she stated that they haven't started on February's apps yet then I'm fairly sure they also haven't started on Marches yet either. And I see "Right to Carry" has pointed out that they may be working on some Saturdays.
