Frisco City Hall
Does anyone know if City Hall in Frisco is off-limits for carrying? I need to go up there and register a car I recently purchased. I've never been to City Hall, so I don't know who occupies that building and whether any of those occupants meet the definition of a "government court or offices utilized by the court".
Re: Frisco City Hall
If it's a multi-purpose building, the AG has opined that the prohibition only applies to the court and offices necessary to the operation of the court.
If they have 30.06 signs anywhere else, take pictures. You can submit a complaint to the AG to fine the city if they're not removed.

Keep calm and carry.

Unless they have county offices there also, you can't register a vehicle with the city. Has to go through Collin County Tax Office http://www.collincountytx.gov/tax_asses ... icles.aspx

Re: Frisco City Hall
That's the same page I was looking at, so I guess I interpreted it differently than you. I'm looking at the line that says "If you are registering your vehicle in Collin County for the first time, you will need to do so in person at any of the offices listed below." That's precisely what I'm doing - I purchased the car out-of-state and need to register it in Collin County. I suppose I can try to call ahead and ask...RPBrown wrote:Unless they have county offices there also, you can't register a vehicle with the city.
