30.06 and 30.07 signs reported at Bulverde County Annex
I just received an e-mail alerting me to the posting of signs at the Comal County Bulverde Annex.
How does this happen? I thought public buildings were not to be posted, except facilities of courts.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

It happens when government officials ignore the laws of our state. There's a protocol to follow now to complain, and then of it's not remedied, to forward the complaint to the Attorney General, and there are civil penalties for the political subdivision if they are indeed found in violation.

This will tell you what to do. You have to notify the offending government body first, and then if they still don't comply you file a complaint with the AG. Don't let them get away with breaking the law.

Re: 30.06 and 30.07 signs reported at Bulverde County Annex
I tried to look for the Commissioners Court items, found nothing indicating action taken, although they appear to have discussed it in Executive Session in early
January.
I wrote my Commissioner to ask what they thought they were doing.
I've never been in the Annex in Bulverde. For all I know it is nothing but district court rooms. Anybody know?
I see a form for the report to the AG. Is there a form for the complaint to the offending local government?

I was the one who posted this using the Texas3006 app. (BTW app works great, easy to do on the spot, highly recommend it). This is new county annex building and not everyone has even moved in yet. I was planning on researching the procedure for submitting this to AG.
The Comal County annex in New Braunfels is also posted. Metal detectors and deputies right inside the door. The building does house a courthouse but other county offices as well.

JALLEN, missed your question. The annex will house county clerk, constable, vehicle records, tax office, and justice of the peace.

There is not an "official" form for complaints to the local government, but Charles Cotton provides one at the Firearms coalition website. Gimme a minute and I will find the link.JALLEN wrote: I've never been in the Annex in Bulverde. For all I know it is nothing but district court rooms. Anybody know?

Rhino1, if you need help with paperwork, affidavits, etc, I can help, and am more than glad to. I don't have fax, though.

Rhino1, my reply to your email bounced, rejected by your server, no idea why.

Don't know either. I'll send from personal email instead of work
