CHL disqualifications

Hello hopefully some one can help me I took the CHL course and I want to get my CHL but I have been introuble about 5 years ago for quit a few things I have never had a felony all I have ever had was a class A-C misdaminors. Will it be worth the money to try to get it or will they automatically disqualify me..I have also got a hazmat cdl and a government issued TWIC card since then and had no problems can someone plz help me I don't want to waste money..

If the misdemeanors are over five years old then possibly you are ok as long as the misdemeanors are not as found in Subsection 42.01 (Disorderly Conduct) of the Penal Code. The fact that you racked up several such charges/convictions may have the reviewers look hard at you and you might have to splain some stuff. Don't get discouraged just yet, hang out here and somebody is going to have a solid answer for ya.

Thank you so much for the support all I wanna do is protect my family and this is really getting discoraging..

For a class A or B misdemeanors it is a 5 year wait from conviction and sentencing I do believe but IANAL

You have to be much more specific. For example, you cannot have 2 or more DWI's in the past 10 years.
